That was a really stupid thing to bitch about. That groundhog is treated like a king. Made me think about the ones I see around my house. Many of them end up as road kill. We had one a few years that had it’s back legs crushed and had to slid around.

When I was a kid there was one that got it's head stuck in an old soup can. Stupid thing ran around for about a week with that can on it's head before it got hit by a car. I still don't know how it got water.

2008 groundhog day.
For most of the year, Phil lives in a climate-controlled home at the Punxsutawney Library. He is taken to Gobbler's Knob and placed in a heated burrow underneath a simulated tree stump on stage before being pulled out at 7:25 am on Groundhog Day, February 2, to make his prediction.
I think the people at PETA need to mind there own damn business.
