PETA against Groundhog's Day

Just saw on Fox News "Special Report with Brett Baier" that PETA thinks that animated groundhogs would be better used than the real ones around the country so the groundhogs can get their winter's rest and no human stress. The Puxatawney Phil's spokespersons said that Phil is better cared for than most of PA's children.

PETA should spend their time and energy focusing on animals that are REALLY in effing danger and not worrying about a ground dwelling, fat bastard of a chipmunk.

Another useless attempt to prove to the rest of the world that you are "enlightened" and should be taken "seriously".

I would have more respect for them if they kidnapped Phil and held him for ransom. Demanding that he never again be used for tourism dollars and propoganda purposes.

Stupid PETA.

Ron White - "You can't fix stupid!" Ever notice PETA folks forget their shoes are made of leather, yogurt contains live cultures (creatures), milk comes from cows (unless it's badger milk or from soy), eggs are unborn chickens and just how many 1000's of fruit flies die every day in that winery..poor things drowning in that huge vat of Cabernet Savignon!!

This is just another action by an uber-liberal organization that will make more people see how irrelevant they really are. How the leadership in these types of organizations cannot see how stupid statements like this make them appear is amazing. But it does show just how far out of touch with the mainstream of America these organizations are. I laugh at them and hope they continue to show the country that they are just plain Goofy (with apologies in advance to the cartoon character of the same name).

If anyone here wants to really help animals in this country join the Humane Society of the United States, and make a donation. I send them $25.00 per month.

^^^ effin hilarious

PETA got a proposal on the ballots here last Nov. They wanted to take over the regulations for care for farm animals state wide. Needless to say, they got shot down by a wide margin. Could you imagine if PETA had control of the farms? Rarely do you see farmers giving up their prescious time to lobby, but they sure were putting in overtime on that one. :D

It's time to trot out the old PETA bumper sticker I had on my car:

I'm a member of PETA....People Eating Tasty Animals.
