Spiders I can deal with, I have a big ol Wolf Spider in the shed, bigger than a 50 cent piece, been for several years now...............

My brothers and I used to catch snakes and sell the to Boy Scouts in the area so they could get their merit badges,, we just bought shotgun shells and .22 rounds,, lots of snakes on Parris Island also jp,, esp where we would bivouac during ICT. Some of the recruits from the big cities went ape s$%& when one was encountered.

Default No pet snakes for me, but I can share some space

When we lived on my wife's family farm in central FL there was large Indigo snake that hung out close by, it was at least a 5 footer. I hope it died of old age and left some off spring.
