Default Opening packages............

One biggy Pet Peeve I was reminded of just today is the packages that have something like a "Pull Here or Open Here" thing that isn't and you rip it to shreds trying to open it. Or then there's the hard plastic stuff that send you to the Urgent Care center...

My roommate coming home in the middle of the night and then complaining all day about how tired she is.... Wtf? It's called cause and affect...

In the morning before school and at lunch. All day was a bit of an exaggeration...

A peeve that is not a pet....

In my area of Florida, almost everyone can name the quarterback for the Gators of the SEC, but ask who the best mathematician is at FSU, and they can't tell you.

Why can't we apply the same enthusiasm to academics as sports?

Would we have such a high drop-out rate if the same standards applied to sports were put on academics?

No coach blames "years of slavery" if a player does not perform as expected, but that is used as an excuse for academics.

I felt the same way about music and sports in high school... Never could figure out how football could possibly be now important to someone's education than musical instruments.

In the high school I went to, the band was at least as important as the football team. Our band was pretty bad ass.
