Yep, we did some shooting and tried out eachother's guns, but we spent most of the time just chatting away.

of course you can shoot my guns Jim! but you still gotta bring something different! TWW brought his Mosin Nagant revolver to the last one. that is a kind of cool pistol and now i am thinking of getting my own.

Rest assured, I will be packing. I've got more than one gun I bet you'd love to shoot....

i took all of my 1911's the last time. i took a few rifles, but only shot my AR. Robo was kind enough to let me do a test between his S&W Model 29 and my Taurus Tracker 44 for recoil comparison.

My pet peeve is that my bosses figured out a way to get more work out of me. I am one of the fastest workers at our shop and have the lowest come back rate. The only time I have a come back is when I rush a job but my bosses have figured out that if they piss me off first I will work faster and my quality of work stays the same as if I was working at my normal speed. They are starting to use this tactic more and more. It pisses me off but at the same time it does make my check look better at the end of the week.

So, which 44 had more felt recoil? No fair keeping us in suspense!

Are you paid by time or piece work? If you make more by doing more in the same time, then figure out how to piss yourself off. I'm sure there are enough Obama pix here to get the job done!

actually they were about equal in felt recoil. the Model 29 weighed a bit more and was a 4" barreled version and my Tracker 44 had a ported 4"barrel but was only a medium framed five shot. i used the same ammo i reloaded in both pistols because i was use to my reloads. i expected less recoil from my ported barrel and to say the least i was pleasantly suprised at the results.

i will add, the trigger is much better onthe S&W Model 29.
