Something my wife does that really irritates me is, when we get home from our respective jobs in the evening, I ask her how was her day. Instead of a reasonable answer or discussion, she always tells me what day of the week it is: "Hi, Hanna. How did your day go?" "It's Friday." or "It's Tuesday". WTF does that mean to me? It means she doesn't want to be bothered with talking to me. Then she'll get on her PC and watch Korean soap operas all evening without saying a word to me, but she'll find time to jabber in Korean with her son. More than just a peeve.

Yesterday I was in an auto parts store and I wanted some information about the A.C. recharging product I was looking to buy. So, I asked the cashier (the product was on a shelf behind her), and she couldn't speak English well enough to understand what I was asking about. When did I wake up in a Spanish speaking country?

When a UPS employee puts your product on the wrong truck so now instead of receiving your new gun today you have to wait til Tuesday.

In some cases you are lucky if you receive it at all. I used to work at a gun store, and every once in a while, UPS would deliver an empty box that had the gun removed somewhere enroute.

I can totally understand that. At least in the Honda I would have a pretty decent chance of surviving. On a bike... I shudder to think of what could happen.

Reported it stolen, notified UPS and the distributor. Usually it would be some UPS newby who was too stupid to notice that he'd signed for it before he started driving.
So we were informed, he'd be fired. Whether anybody went to jail I never heard.

ABSOFREAKINLUTELY!!! I wish we had laws against non-English labeling on products sold in the U.S.

I'm fine with multiple language labeling. But if someone is involved in customer service of any sort, they need to speak the national language. Which I'm pretty sure is still English.
