Personally, I don't F*** with anyone. The most unassuming person can surprise the hell out of you, especially if they are cornered. "Live and let live"
By the same token, I don't take bull**** from anyone else. As you get some age on you, and you have accepted your own mortality as a fact and not a theory, you don't fear things you did when you were younger; when you get old, you have less to lose.
That may have been where the old saying came from:
