I believe it was San Fransicko that banned styrofoam cups at public venues because Dihydrogen Monoxide was used in the manufacture of said cups.

Every year hundreds of people in the US die from inhaling Dihydrogen Monoxide. It has gotten so wide spread that nearly every fish is exposed to it, even food fish like Tuna and Mahi-Mahi. You cannot find a filet at the seafood store that was not exposed to it.

I frequently reread our CT assault weapons ban (yes we have a ban separate from the Fed ban--thanks antis) and the subject is always coming up about the "parts" of the gun. 3 big items are a bayonet lug, a barrel shroud and a pistol grip.

(in case you are wondering--it physcially hurts me to read the text, but I am SO perplexed over the idiocy of it, that I have to keep reading--kind of like gawking at accident scenes )

The anti legislators freak when you discuss these parts: OH NO---AAAAAAAHHHHH It has a BARREL SHROUD!! HELP US!!!

99% of the time when ask an anti legislator what a barrel shroud is--you get hems and haws. mmm, I thought so.

And this is the same exact thing: oh NO I have no clue what that is...but since it sounds so awful it must be banned.....
