Ok, ok. Mrs. skullcrusher just got home. She said the 8 year old had one set painted in buff and the other foot was in silver. The 10 year old was deep red on both sets. I'm not sayin' anything, but I'm just sayin'.

Ok, Shorin-ryu is a very 'kata heavy' style. I like kata, but some styles need to drastically minimize. Shotokan has like 60 friggin' kata!! SIXTY!

Depending on if it's matsubayashi, kobayashi, or another form of it would depend on who you need to contact to file a formal complaint..Kise, Nagamine, unless they paint their ails too........j/k.

Glad your son is doing martial arts and I hope he sticks with it. Make sure he goes on to a grappling style after he gets a good base. Shorin guys have no clue when they're on their back, but a couple told me they 'can't be taken down'...rofl

Painted toenails...........man, once I showed up to class with a faded red shirt under my gi top. It was very cold outside, but we wee allowed to wear some clothing unde ou gi. They had me do so many knuckle puch-ups fo wearing a "pink shirt".........holy crap!!

They have been working on grappling. Seems as this Dojo melds styles. I have already been working the grappling with him. I have some experience with both, but the ground game (from my experience in fights) is important. He is so strong from the bottom, it amazes me. His legs are are always working...it is soooo cool! *proud papa goes here*
