In my therapy I used one of those large yoga(?) balls. For stretching, propping legs etc, very handy and portable around the house.

I wish you a speedy recovery. Dan is right......do your physical therapy religiously. It is an important part of your recovery.

Meh, I don't argue with my wife. I love her more than anyone else in the world. I will never understand those people who scream at their family but are as sweet as pie to a stranger.

Once in a great while I will take a break from the alcohol. Sometimes it's even my choice. I don't suffer any withdrawal symptoms. I did stop taking Pristiq a couple of years ago. WORST TWO WEEKS OF MY LIFE!!! That was withdrawal! Apparently dangerous too; and not just for me!

McCool, I hope you recover quickly. I'm trying to stay optimistic for my own situation. The Recumbent Stepper in Rehab will be your friend.

I'm looking forward to the rehab. The sooner I can walk, the sooner I can walk!

My wife has 2 disks that were in really bad shape 20 years ago. She had a SPorts Doc/ Chiropractor that worked on her for two years and she has been pretty good for 15+ years since then. You need to be very careful from now on and even when your nearly better otherwise its likely to be a chronic condition.

Good luck MMC and take it easy as you can, build it back slowly and make sure your very careful when your lifting anything including yourself.
