I;ve been there and I cried like a baby. It was truly an experience. Thanks for the photos. In my opinion, ****tiest war this country ever got involved in. Oh, wait, no, it wasn't a war, it was a "conflict".

There's a pic someone painted of an older man in a business suit crying with his hand on the wall. Inside the wall are some of his squadmates with their hands on the wall looking at him. I have never served but that painting makes me choke up every time I see it

My best friend thru elementary school, junior high school, high school, college, Marine Corps boot camp, advanced infantry training, has his name on the wall. Even after several decades I feel guilty about encouraging him to join with me.

Saw the travelling wall here in calif. twice.
Both times brought tears to my old eyes.
While I am a "Cold War" Vet

We had the transportable version here a few months ago....Was very sad to see my Cousin's name on the Wall...
