Im hoping to find something even a piece of paper thats dated or signed.
Wiki lists his bday as 11-14-33...good a start as any...

Tried this earlier today. Still need to figure out what kind of lock it actually is.

A Diebold Safe from any time frame is a good safe. If it is from that time frame then the combo lock can be manipulated to open if one knows how to do so. That takes training and putting some time into the practice.

Drilling can trash the security of a safe, not to mention that depending on the type of hard plate backing that the lock is mounted to can be an expensive endeavor. Manipulation is the best way to open it but this takes a skilled person and can take quite a while to do.

Cutting hinges will not open a safe unless it is a real cheep safe, and I donít know right off hand any Diebold Safes that were made that cheep. It has been some 20+ years sense I worked on a safe like that and if it were here I would open it for you.

Cutting hinges off does not do squat. Any safe worth it's weight in peanut butter locks on more than one edge of the door. Cutting off the hinges will merely allow the door to fall on you when you DO get it unlocked.
