Interesting example. Now what kind of clips are those?

You might be a little disappointed in that choice.

S&W M&P 9mm

Mossberg 835 12ga

S&W M&P 15 .223 with Nikon P-223 3x32 scope.

And my Kel-Tec P11 for backup.

My Wife would have:
Ruger 10/22

Yugo M70 ab2. AK variant

Colt Government model .45 1911

Remington 870 Tactical w/ghost ring sights and mag extension

Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle 5.56 with wood stock (good availability on ammo. Will do some damage if a butt stroke is needed as opposed to smacking someone with a plastic stock)

All IMHO.

Rock River Arms AR-15 223/5.56 . with EOTech and NV unit
(SHTF 223/5.56 More available to Acquire in the field) IMO

Remington 870 12 Gauge 20" Rifle Sight Slug Barrel for Slugs and Shot
(Easy to come by additional ammunition in the field) IMO

Glock 19 9MM (Prefer the 40 cal. Model 22 or 1911 45 cal. But in a SHTF situation it would be easier to acquire 9mm in the field.) IMO

Sig sp2022 9mm because 9mm will probably be easier to scavenge if tshf, although I would prefer my Colt official police in .38 cal. but 6 vs 15 does make a difference.

Remington 870 12 gauge over my 1100. 870 has less things that can wrong at the wrong time'

Rifle would be my Remington 700 bdl in .270, but I just bought a Savage 30-06 that I haven't had a chance to shoot yet and could possibly replace the .270.

If and when I get an ar of almost any sort it will probably replace either above rifle, again because ammo will probably be easier to scavenge.

Won't you need magazines that are fed from those three clips?

Now for one that will leave some scratching their heads. Trust me, it'll make sense in a minute.

Parker Sidekick, LH Compound bow with the 45-60 limb and cam set. 12 Arrows with field points and broadheads.

IO Inc Hellcat .380, 2 extra magazines.

Marlin Model 70P with extra 7 and ten round magazines and 3-9 power scope.

One each, folder and fixed blade, 3.5 to 4 inch knives.

Reasoning is pretty simple really. All are takedown or pocket sized, will fit into a clothing duffle bag, and can be used to take the enemy's weapons in a fairly low key or silent manner when used properly. At that time, whatever weapons, shotgun, rifle, or handgun, he was carrying, and whatever else i can get off him in a timely manner, and still escape, is now mine or the group's.

The problem is, there is no set scenario in this thread, and these are the most flexible options i have, thus giving me the best coverage given the X factor of the thread. I could choose the Beretta 92FS, Remington 870 12 ga., and my SKS, but, if the country that took over was using AR-15 variants, Glocks, and Saiga 12s, I now have to figure out how to get their weapons, or to find ammo for my own, or worse yet, parts for mine. Low key, no tactical looking packs or clothes, and a defeated look on the face of the guy walking around in the occupied zone with a bag of clothes and a bed roll makes one look just like the rest of the sheep, and that is what makes that person dangerous. When the SHTF, he or she blends in, and disappears into that crowd.
