Felt it pretty strong here in SWOK too. I thought it was just the wind making the house creak but the whole couch was moving too. It was a strange feeling for sure!

Im waiting for the New Madrid fault to go again. Last time (1812) I think, it rang church bells in new york, created the real foot lake, and made the MS river look like it was running backwards for 3 days.

I was in bed about 10:30 lastnight, almost asleep and the bed started shaking and i could actually hear the rumbing. Almost sounded like a pulsing sound, NEVER had it happen here before..kind of cool and disturbing at the same time

I live just 7 miles from the epicenter of the 6.9 magnitude Loma Prieta Earthquake in 1989. We lost our house in that one. I still prefer to live in earthquake country than tornado or hurricane country. Truth!
