Long story short. I brought Devon to the ER this afternoon, for something we thougt was probably unrelated; it wasn't. They checked her in and she is having surgery in the morning.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Devon. Be there for her in every way. Tell her I am with here in spirit, woman to woman.

Thanks again all.

So we ended up not having the surgery "tomorrow" (which would have been wednesday), she had surgery this morning. Good Lawd what a long story this is, so let me cut right to the chase.

She had a lymph node removed from her right groin area this morning. The surgeon met with me when he was done and described the size of the node as being about 4cm x 2cm (a normal one is about 1cm long) so volume wise it was around 10x bigger than normal.

There was a pathologist there during the procedure. They "eyeballed" the node and confirmed that she does in fact have lymphoma. It has been sent off to pathology for testing and we should know in a few days exactly what KIND of lymphoma she has.

So basically we are still standing by to stand by, which has got to be more frustrating than pretty much anything else really.
