My nephew is still bleeding into his stomach, he had an explorative surgery and colonoscopy today. Didn't find anything obvious but took a bunch of biopsies. He's too young for any other procedures so we're praying and hoping they figure out what is going on and can get him better.

That is strange. I hope they could figure this out. He ought to just be busy being a kid and having fun. Is his hemoglobin low again? Is he at a good children's hospital?

I think it was a little low but not as bad as last time, he didn't have to have a transfusion. I'm sure they took him to Primary Children's in Salt Lake, it's one of the best Children's hospitals in the country. It's hard being so far away, I don't know all the details and I don't want to ask my sister or brother a million questions while they're dealing with this.

Is there a spot where he is bleeding and they don't know why, or are they finding blood and don't know where its from? No kid deserves to be seriously ill.

My sister said she has been finding blood in his poop, do they know he's bleeding but not sure where it's coming from I'd what is causing it. He had the same problem back in March and they thought they figured it out but I guess not.

He's dehydrated and has a fever so they're keeping him in the hospital over night and then they're doing a ct angio scan in the morning. I don't know what that is but that's what they're doing so at least they're not completely out of ideas.

Well, still no news on what could possibly be causing it but he's home from the hospital

Well, that's some good news, anyway. I hope they find an answer soon.
