11 days not counting today. 11 days to pack our stuff and find a new home.

And I've done nothing wrong. The trailer is owned by one couple, and the lot is owned by someone else. The lot owners sold the property out from under us, and the new owners showed up today with this.

How's the law work on that? Is the trailer part of the lot? Are you just being evicted off the lot, or out of the trailer?

Not sure what you can do, but maybe these will help.

Not that it's the same thing but we did it in less then a month...and we had a lotta stuff....

I've had two places I was renting sell but at least I got 30 days. You have kids, two weeks sound unreasonable especially when your rent is already paid.

You should receive 50% of your deposit back because you are not being evicted for lack of payment or misuse of the location, but at the owners whim. Check your local laws.

I'm actually getting this month free. My landlord's attorney has word from the new landowner's attorney that a 30 day extension will be granted, and I'll be able to stay for free for as much of next month as I need to pack and get out.

Basically this ten day notice has turned into a 40 day notice. With August and September for free.

That's big help.
