Okay, folks. I received a PM today from a friend I've made here on FTF. It upset me as he's not feeling well, hasn't been feeling well for a while and he also feels it is a serious situation. It didn't sound like he was interested in going to the doctor. I am worried sick over him. I don't know how to reach him other than through PM's here.

Can you all send prayers and positive thoughts to someone who wishes to remain anonymous but who we all know and love?

Wilco.

Note: Difficult dilemma - how do you - FYOG - see a Dr.? Emergency room visit is The most expensive $$$ option for those of us w/o insurance.

I went through this debate - thought it was Flu - hospital's first guess was pneumonia and was going to send me home. I spent 21 days in critical care & almost died. My delay in seeking medical care Almost cost me my life. Sometimes, "we" are our own worst enemy - my Lesson Learned - The Hard Way.

I fully agree. I believe my friend is of the age where he can get Madicare. But I don't think it's insurance that is holding him back from seeing a doctor. I think he just wants to let 'nature take it's course'. That's what I understood from his PM.

Okay, folks. I received a text from a dear friend this morning. His beloved Mother in Law is in the hospital and not sure how the outcome will be. His wife is beside herself with worry.

Please, everyone, pray hard for a good outcome here. This friend and his family are very dear to me. I hate to see them hurting. By the way, this friend is a member here on FTF. Let's all help him and his family out with prayers.

Thank you.
