I have watched the second round of that fight like 10 times. Goldie and Rogan were ALL OVER Bispings' nuts in the first round and part of the second and then WHAM!! Bisping was dead on his feet. It was AWESOME!!

Later on, at the press conference Hendo was getting grilled about the extra shot and he was like "I only hit twice, once when he was standing and once when he was down. The shot when he was down was to make sure the ref stopped the fight, I didn't pounce on and him and drop 20 elbows"......

Bisping was "unavailable" to attend the press conference... LOL

I hope the bastard has a broken jaw...

Benning said it best, but you solidified it. I try to never miss a Tango when one appears.

(FYI, I call good rants "Tangos")

So, let it be known that a great rant be hereby known to be a "Tango".

On the steriod thing...

I have friends that have done 'roids. One of them was a 2x NCAA All-American and went 1-1 with Coleman in his collegiate glory days. They are some nasty, nasty drugs. At the time, dyannaball and winstrol-v were huge. These were made for race horses. The recovery and tire rate of a workout is eliminated. Aggressiveness...well documented. There have been many relief pitchers in MLB that have been busted for 'roid use. That is because they have to pitch hard in short burst on nearly a daily basis and the 'roids keep them from being sore, tight or fatigued. If Lesnar is not on 'roids, then I will let Tango write my sig line for a month.

I say have a full card of nothing but 'roid shooters. Heck, shoot 'em up before the fight as they step into the ring.

Anyone who is interested:

Leverage on TNT has an episode about MMA tonight featuring Matt Linland.

Some good MMA moves, but definitely not a great representation of the sport....

It will be interesting to see what Dana has to say in future blogs.

Ooohhhhh..... Nice Triangle Choke by Parker ( she's one of my favorites on that show ) but she is lacking the discipline to secure that right leg.

I think she needs to spend some time with me on the mat to get her technique up to snuff.

I downloaded UFC 2009 Undisputed OMG I am so hooked. I have KO's Shogun 8 out of 9 times with Ice Man. To bad he still doesn't fight that way.

You need to pick up the full game when you can. It's great. I have won all the belts in all the weight classes and I am having a great time defending the belts.

The training camp options are seriously cool. You have to do interviews and guest appearances, go to other camps for specialized training. It's a really good game.

Though I am waiting for a download patch that will allow me to fight at catch weight fights against other top fighters...

22 seconds to KO Shogun today. Caught him with a few jabs right in the face and then BOOM over hand right KOed his butt so bad he was shaking on the screen never done that before. WOO HOO......

I heard that if you know MMA and know the fighters then you can do good but if you just try to brawl you will get your azz kicked almost everytime. I know the iceman loves to use that overhand right and I bang shogun with it every chance i can get.

The boxing and kickboxing skills are over-rated in the game, to be honest, and the submissions aren't given enough strength. The only real submission players are, surprise:

Blow Job
Florian
GSP
Damien Maia ( the best in the game, no doubt about it, the programmers LOVE him )
Frank Mir
Big Nog

The rest of the fighters all have submission skills, or submission defenses, but they rarely win by submission.

Cro Cop is off the charts with his ability to knock you out at any time of the fight. I lost a fight in the first 30 seconds to one well placed high kick - lucky it was early in my career at heavyweight... LOL

On the flip side, you can submit Lesnar with the bare basic of skills.... LOL

I love this game - It just needs some little download love from the programmers to make it one of the best games of all times....
