Kimbo will be, no doubt, be getting more than the usual $5,000 win per fight, based on his notoriety - and there are rumors that he has a full six week "contract" to keep his head about him and NOT get thrown out of the house, even when he loses his first fight.

Should be interesting.

I will definitely be watching the Faber/Brown rematch, though the rest of the fight card isn't worth the price of the PPV.

Bringing in Kimbo is a good move. He has tons of followers from the YouTube generation. Is he still working with Bas Ruten?

Plus, the WEC is on Pay-per-View? What happened to the Versus Channel having the rights?

Oh, count on it. Faber got unlucky and leaned into Brown's fist last time. I'm not saying that it can't happen again, just that it was pretty unfortunate.

That would be a negative. Before his big loss to Petruzzeli, Bas had banned him from training at his gym, though he did agree to corner him for the fight, because of what Bas as quoted as saying "Lifestyle choices that Kimbo is not prepared to seperate himself from"

Now, Bas is from Holland, so I imagine a little pot smoking and a little whoring around wasn't the issue.

The general conscensus around the InterWebz is that Kimbo is still living the Gangsta life, packing heat ( illegally ) and making a lot of lifestyle choices that could blow up in his public face.

Kimbo will generate a ton of views, and we all get to see him get owned, both in training and in life.

I love this signing. DW is the Effing Man in my eyes...

Faber takes chances, and the fans love that. He was getting out muscled in the first fight, because Brown is no joke in the strength department.

However, Faber, I believe, IS better conditioned. I believe that he could go 10 x 5 minutes rounds and still be able to fight.

That said, Brown takes this in the rematch with just his ability to take a punch and to put you on your butt with one of his. Faber might win a decision, or he wins with a slick submission that we haven't really seen from him yet, but other than that, Brown out punches and out muscles him in the clinch for a victory. Probably by ref stoppage....

GREAT NIGHT OF FIGHTS ON SHOWTIME!!!!!!

Anyone got Showtime?? Tune into the Strikeforce card tonight!!

Jake Shields and Robbie Lawler alone is worth the price for the month.

Arlovski VS. Brett "The Grim ( undefeated )" Rodgers is going to be a great slug fest!

Nick Diaz versus Scott "Hands of Steel" Smith.

10 fights in all. Great fight card!!

For free if you have Showtime!!

Watching it now.

Big fan of the Riggs/Baroni match. Lots of UFC "has beens" in this event.

Good grief I can't stand the diaz dorkwad brothers. Walking around flexing their 13inch guns after they wrap up some weiner or rant and cry when they get their butt kicked, lol. Sore losers and sore winners!! I wacth their fights in hopes they get whooped and look silly.

As for Kevin Ferguson, isn't he involved with the porn industry or something? Guy's aaa slimeball and I think(hope) bas is a stand-up guy. I watch kimboo just to watch him get ko'd by a weak jab from a guy with a losing record, lol. Who was that big cop that beat the crap out of him before kimboo's boys had to stop it and whine and cry about some knees or something?

If DW had any class he would mean what he says,but..........

There's a large difference between guillotine and triangle. Different appendages at work and all. So, yeah, I'm pretty sure it was a guillotine

Tonight Diaz really elevated his status to Penn level. What a tool.
