Check out this 0:12 KTFO by Anderson Silva before he was in the UFC.

YouTube - Anderson Silva amazing KO
Oh my God!!!! That elbow was a few degrees shy of being illegal. Course I know he knew what he was doing... Silva was actually a pretty dirty fighter before he got to UFC. He's just a beast!!!

Back in those days standing elbows in any angle and head stomps on the ground were legal. There wasn't anything illegal about it.

There is another one out there, I think it was from when he was King of the Cage, he does a spining back elbow to a guy and hits him around the side of the head and the guy just crumples. It was pretty amazing as well.

Silva is one of those I would love to grapple, but I would NEVER want to strike with him, and if I had to, I sure as HELL wouldn't get him mad at me.

That's odd... all through my training I was told you couldn't throw an elbow from 12 to 6 and vise-versa. Then again like you said, this fight was from awhile back.
I completely agree with not wanting to piss him off!! Reminds me of sparring my Sensei... Anytime he we sparred and I hit him, he'd smile and that let me know something was coming back to me pretty damn hard. lol good times

Ryan Bader vs. Keith Jardine
Mirko Cro Cop vs. Ben Rothwell

Big Nog.

Silva if he can get it done early, otherwise Bisping could eke it out.

Joe Daddy

Bader if he can get it to the ground, and he can.

I'm not picking Cro Cop ever again either. He is in it for the money now and we know where that gets you.

Default Ufc 111

George St. Pierre vs. Dan Hardy – World Welterweight Title on the line

Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin – Interim Heavyweight Title ( Because Lesnar was Protected )

Ben Saunders vs. Jake Ellenberger (170lbs.)

Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves (170lbs. – Maybe, if Thiago makes weight )

Jim Miller vs. Mark Bocek (155lbs.)

Who you taking and why?

I got St. Pierre, because there is no one at 170 pounds that could beat BJ at 170 pounds and St. Pierre killed BJ, so therefor no one at 170 is going to pose a challenge for His Frenchness....

Frank Mir. No way Carwin has seen a guy like Mir yet. While huge, and a heavy striker, Carwin is not capable of defending against the submission skills of Mir. And he is my favorite fighter. So there.

Ben Saunders - though this could be a closer fight than some expect.

Thiago, if he makes weight, is going to overpower Fitch.

Jim Miller, because I just can't bet against the Miller boys until they get some serious competition.

What you got?

GSP by murder. Who has Dan Hardly faced? 3 wins over opponents who clearly weren't top shelf, (yes I think Mike Swick has fallen off).

Mir by submission in inside of round 2. Lets see real quick: his last 2 fights he has knocked down and submitted a former kick boxer (Kongo) and knocked out a legend that had never been knocked out before (Big Nog). So while he may not be the heavy striker Carwin is, he def has a bigger and better tool box.

Ben Suanders simply because I haven't seen much from his op.

Jon Fitch by decision. I think his cardio will be what wins it whether Alves makes weight or not (even money bet he doesn't).

I think Bocek wins be sub in round 3. Just not overly impressed with any of the "Miller Boys".

With all of that I may end paying to watch this one.

George St. Pierre vs. Dan Hardy – Pierre by prison rape

Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin – Depends on which Mir decides to show up. I got Mir if he's on his antidepressants.

Ben Saunders vs. Jake Ellenberger - Saunders

Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves - Fitch. Because the Fitch that lost to GSP is better than the Alves that lost to GSP

Jim Miller vs. Mark Bocek Miller for the same reason Dillinger posted
