The UFC looks to have made at lest 25% on that fight. Not to bad really when the gate was 2 mill I wonder what the ppv brought in.

They estimated 450,000 to 500,000 buys. They get anywhere from 33 1/3% to about 45% of the purchase price, depending on household penetration.

So call it 400,000 buys at $15/per buy, at the worst. That's still $6 million bucks before you pay for the venue, staff and before you factor in the gate.

Not too bad for a card that had NO real stars....

So when is this Lidell Silva fight supposed to happen?

Saw it advertised in a torta shop a few days ago, but no date on the flyer.

Whenever it happens, lidells gonna look like a chump.

Probably because Chuck already fought Wanderlai Silva about 2 years ago, perhaps more.

Liddel is one of the coaches on the next edition of TUF, against Tito Ortiz, and that will be his next fight. The third installment of who cares about Tito & will he ever be relevant to anyone but himself?

OK just what the hell is wrong with Brock Lesner. Now they are talking about him being out for a year or two or retiring or maybe a july return date. This boy is effed the hell up big time.

I will say he is an avid outdoorsman. I watched a interview with White and Lesner yelled at white for sending him a Flip camcorder so White sent him a bunch of fishing polls and stuff.

I forget the name of his actual illness, it's about 12 characters long and starts with a "D", but it has to do with the intestinal tract having pockets or pits in it that can house food.

These pockets can trap seeds from strawberries and other "small stuff" that can linger and become bacterial.

Compounded is the fact that this bacteria can then leech into the blood stream and that is, in essence, what is wrong with him.

According to the last PPV, there was supposed to be a decision as to whether or not the Carwin/Mir fight will be for the Interim Title, or for the real Heavyweight Title, pending Lesnar's future ability to fight.

I am not much on him as a fighter but I do hope he recovers from this condition.

This is a problem from not craping 3 times a day. Dude blew out his inner tube.
