Default Odd/funny marketing attempts.

I couldn't help but laugh when I seen this.
I harrowed a game from a friend I mine (Modern Warfare 3) and when I was running with the ACR I brought the sight up and damn near p!ssed me self laughing when it noticed it.

The first, though not a great picture, shows that the red dot sight is an EOTech L3.

I was a little curious so looked at the gun closer, not so surprisingly, there was a name on it too. Haha

Lol I actually think they did that from a "realism" standpoint.
By working with eotech they can recreate it perfectly, and couch commandos can feel like they're rockin' the real deal.

That's true.
But as a "couch commando" I really couldn't care how real things look. Lol

I noticed back when I played an older call of duty game that with the 1911 you could see the back of the extractor next to the hammer. I wondered if they even knew what it was when they made the game.

Seeing as they use airsoft magazines for the charachter models, probably not.

FPS military games could be SO MUCH better if the companies would use alot more details in the games. Real firearm schematics and functions, actual gunshot sounds for every weapon, muzzle flash, use the right caliber of the casings being ejected for every given weapon, realistic sounds and damage radius of grenades,ETC. In the COD games they dont use realistic weapon sounds, its always been one of my pet peeves about the series. In the sense of realism, Battlefield 3 has MW3 beat.
