odd DARPA project
DARPA is currently taking bids on a project that. The project calls for an aircraft that is capable of flying normally, then submerging and traveling under water for at least 30 minutes, then transitioning back to air for normal flight.
Every DARPA project is connected to a military application that is proposed for use within the next 10 to 15 years. I wonder what they have planned for this technology.

I heard it through an undisclosed source. The bidding project is secret, but the projects are public and anyone can bid on them.
I'm close to an engineer with an aeronautical design and consulting firm.

I am sure we could come up with a bad azz lookin azz kickin heavily armed fully autonomous land air and sea vehicle that can shoot torpedoes, hellfire antitank missiles and have 2 M134D mini-guns on it.
