Early detection is the best way to treat any cancer.

Now, all you concerned fellows here on the board: Who's up for creating a mobile breast testing unit consisting of all the great men on FirearmsTalk???

You guys do realize that men get breast cancer too, right? Take five from scratchin the nads & feel yourself up for good health.

Breast cancer is a nasty disease and I wish we could eliminate it. But even more than that, I wish we could be honest about how few women die from breast cancer relative to other diseases. To see what I mean, take a look at these statistics from the CDC:

CDC - Breast Cancer Statistics

From all the pink ribbons you see around, you'd think breast cancer was the biggest killer for women. In reality, it's dwarfed by heart disease.

A friend of mine got breast cancer and HE almost died from it. His wife found it one day when she ran her hand over his chest, if they had ignored it he probably wouldn't be here now.
