Obamas pet 'Solyndra', Reids pet 'Nevada Geothermal Power' and 'SunPower' all a part of Obamas Green jobs and all ....a financial fiasco. If it all goes to s*** it'll cost the taxpayers 6-8 billion dollars....we gotta get these bums out of office.

"Green jobs" need to stand on their own. Eventually it will happen. When people are willing to pay the higher price for alternative energy, private industry will profit. The Government can never force it on the consumer.

Hint: With current technology, it only works if the buyer plans on spending YEARS in a home. The "savings" can't be passed on.

The goobs just can't understand - forcing unproven and quirky 'High Tech' on people does NOT work. Let the market drive it, not LAWS.
Reminds me of Gov. Jeb Bush and his much-vaunted "ASPIRE" Floridawide 'standard financial system'. That bungle cost us hundreds of employees laid off, 18 million dollars and three years of wasted programmer's time before it was finally mercifully killed. We NEVER saw any deliverables.
Solyndra and the other boondoggles are the same thing, different industry.
But relatively few actually do. The bigger their political "donations", the greater the chance that they can actually write IRS tax code, get subsidies & other generous favors from politicians - paid for by OUR tax dollars, of course.
