Default NYTs Farmer Is Down; People Come Out to Help

This is the America I believe in. This is the America I try to advocate for. This story is about farmers, but it could have been about people burned out of their homes, flooded out of their community, lost in the woods, whatever.

"Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but it's boring and I go back to being me."
"You might as well be yourself, people won’t like you anyway."

I love this!! This is my home town in DeKalb County, Illinois. I love my little farm town. This is the stuff we are made of here in DeKalb, Illinois. Thank you so much for posting this article. This story has reached much further than I could ever imagine.

This is the true silent majority. This give me some hope.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”Samuel Adams
