From another thread, also reports are coming in of C-130 with supplies:

No fly zone 3 mile radius around West.

There was a fire at the plant, first responders (firemen) were on scene when it blew.

Reports coming out of children trapped in an apartment building.

The entire town is being evacuated due to the ammonia.

The explosion knocked out power. Homes a mile away had their windows blown out. Then they are told to evacuate immediately- no time to stop and stock up on snacks for the road, no time or way to stop and get gas on their way out of town.

Lord, have mercy.

Just saw the video with the guy in the truck on The Blaze, the feeling I got when the explosion happened is indescribable. Prayers to all those affected.

That's exactly how I felt as well. I couldn't believe it when it happened in the video. "Hundreds" of homes surrounding the plant were obliterated. I read that the retirement home was successfully evacuated. They also found one of the lost LEOs and he is ok! Still missing 3 firefighters, unfortunately. I go to school at UT, and I pass through West every time I go home...this is just crazy.
