My dad owns a Norinco Ak he's never had any problems with it .

The only norinco i have owned was a .22 copy of the browning woodsman. it was reliable, accurate and well fit.

I have a Norinco SKS that works just fine. I have handled some Norinco copies of the Winchester 1897 shotgun. They felt like a handful of Gobi desert was included, free of charge. Rough as hell. The Norinco M-14's had a heat treat problem with (I believe) the bolt. That is the extent of my knowledge. I would rather support a different country if I was looking for a 1911 pattern handgun. Armscor is made in a free country.
