My sister also raised geese. The difference was the geese didn't hunt you down like the turkeys did. We just knew to stay away from the geese and their nests/mates/goslings. You coudn't avoid the turkeys. Those bad birds would chase you down.

If you want turkeys, come to where I work, we are eat up with them..........

I had chicks for a while, but I accidentally sucked them up in the shop vac... Oh well.

I had to break down and laugh at it after my 3 year old son stopped crying, it was kind of comical in a very weird sort of way.

In the 70's, Upstate NY was nearly devoid of Wild Turkeys, that didnt bother me because I was a Pheasant/ Grouse hunter. Today the Turkeys are everywhere and not a Pheasant to be found! I dont hunt Turkeys with anything but my car! They are like flying Bowling Balls!
