With supervision and training, a BB gun is a great gift for boy or girl who is capable of being taught responsibility. You can build a foundation of proper firearms handling through such guns. A BB gun is NOT a toy, but with proper education and training, can be a very enjoyable pastime until one graduates to larger firearms.

Ummmm- really not the traditional BB gun- this is one of the Airsoft critters that fires the big soft (relatively speaking) round pellets.

And my 13 yr old grandsons and granddaughters shoot 22 LR- mostly at 50 meters- so I am probably not a good one to ask.....

the thing this 13-year-old boy is dying for a bb gun, but we are worried on the safety cos honestly speaking no adults could be around all the time when he play with it
