New york 223 and 556 shooters
Would you people let some ammo stay on the shelf so I can get some? Haven't even put 40 rounds through my new mini because I can't find any ammo around Oswego or Jefferson county. But seriously share

If you have anything that shoots .223/5.56 and you're in New York, your priority should be leaving the state right now...

Nice to know I'm not alone in my planned exodus. 2 more years, and the daughter is done with high school. She is already checking into schools in Ohio and PA.

I plan on stocking up on reloading supplies the second I get the chance. It sucks not having ammo.

Exactly what I'm doing. Just got my Lee Loadmaster in and am about to start building rounds.

The shortage of .223 and 5.56 has not affected me yet. First off, I handload for almost every caliber I have, (just waiting on my 7.62X54R setup, and nobody can reload rimfire rounds) and I also bought 1 or 2 boxes (various calibers) a week for the last 12 years, along with brass, primers, powder, wads, shot, and bullets once a month for the last 5 years.
Regarless of this, it does chap my azz that every LGS and Wal-Mart in my area has pretty much empty shelves. The only thing worse than the ammo shortage is how many people are overcharging by 2 to 3 times retail price for cheap and high end rifles now. Armslist is loaded with $3 to $4k ARs and $1,000 SKSes. People actually think that Congress and the POTUS can actually agree on another AWB, and these azzhats are taking advantage of it. That just sickens me.
Sorry aboput the rant.
