Default 2/3 used

I've only got 3 firearms and 2 are used. The first handgun was new, but I just purchased a used handgun from a reputable shop.

One issue I see. My Kahr PM9 suggests a 200 round break-in period and I've heard people suggest up to 500 rounds. Since the histroy of the weapon wasn't known, but it looked really quite new, I couldn't assume it had gone through any breaking in, so I put 400 rounds through it before I started carrying it. It served to acclimate ME to the weapon, but also to make for darn sure that it doesn't have any cycling problems if it had missed its break-in.

Default Responce to CHLChris

Hello all, RON L here - SERE SURPLUS with a responce to CHLChris as well as a few others here on this Topic?

I see, Hmm, yea, if you have only 3 Guns and 1 new the rest is used, I see what your getting at? I have like 12 now and a mic of Used and new and as you said, I see no Problem wityh used, as long as I check it out in a hard exam, i know the Folks involved and I can take my time looking and they are willing to do a Bill of sale? With those tools I can work recourse if the gun has issues as well if it comes up stolen or involved in some crime! That Plus, the man knows who he sold or bought it from, has recourse to the Cops if they come asking about a gun in or not in his name?

Wit the new Price of so many guns like SIG and GLOCK, I feel many more will be buying used and better get used to that and what to look for, so that don't get burned? "Buyer and Seller Beware"!!!!!
