So I finally stepped up and got myself one of Randy Porter's knives. It showed up today in a USPS shipping box.
Now normally I would tear into such box with reckless abandon, kinda like a fat kid at the chocolate store.
But I realized that this was no ordinary item so i delicately opened the box, slowly removed the item,
and gently unwrapped the packaging. Behold the beauty,
It is beautiful and a work of fine craftsmanship. But there's more ... it fits my hand perfectly!
Now I have a few other knives but none have the ergonomics that this one has. This knife was made to be held and used, although I dare not for fear of destroying it. No, I'll have to round up some wood and make a frame fitting for it.
Here it is next to my daily carry,
A big thanks to Randy Porter. Folks, if you are a fan of knives and craftsmanship than you really need to get yourself one of these.
