New generation of air-launched cruise missiles?

Air-Launched Cruise Missiles

"The US Office of Naval Research, USAF and NASA are collaborating on a 5-year Revolutionary Approach to Time Critical Long-Range Systems (RATTLRS) program to flight test technologies required to build a future hypersonic cruise missile"

Seems like improving the air-launched cruise missiles is the military's new strategy

And that means what? They'll never be used as long as we have a spineless impostor sitting in the "big chair". He's too busy apologizing to everybody and bowing to kings in the middle east. Even worse is the terrorists know he'll let them go even if the military/intelligence captures them.
