Well I got one of the sides painted all the way back to the rear corner last night. I will do the other side tonight. Ran out of the lighter color of paint though. And I bought all that Walmart had the other day. I will be on a quest for Krylon Camo in Sand after work today.

Ok...wow! I changed the oil in the engine and decided to check all the other fluids. Both diffs were full. But the transfer case was really low...like a quart. It holds less than 2! And the transmission was as if it was full of mud instead of gear oil. So I drained it. It took like 30 minutes for it to empty. I filled it back up. I am going to drive it to work and back tomorrow and change it again when I get home. It runs great and it shifts smooth. I don't think there is any damage. Glad I went through it.

I spent less than $40 on stuff to make a bikini top. After a couple of hours of work I am pretty happy with it.

I did drive it to work last week. The area rep for Autozone stays at my hotel when he is visiting the stores in my area. A few minutes after I parked the Jeep at the hotel. The maintenance man came in and told me the Autozone guy was out there taking pictures of it. Then a couple hours later another guest was out there with a camera. When I first got to the hotel, a regular customer saw it and stood there with his mouth hanging open. He lived in the Philippines when he was a child. He told me that the army had abandoned a bunch of jeeps like mine in a ravine and buried them with a backhoe. He said the villagers dug them up and used them. He took one look at my Jeep and wanted to buy it. It reminded him of his childhood. I could have sold it for a profit on the spot. But I had to tell him it was not for sale.
