I am guessing the paint theme is pretty obvious. Daniel thinks it is the coolest Jeep he has ever seen. We are a long way from done. But I am pretty happy so far. What do you guys think?
Looking good!

Thanks. I can't wait to get the hood done. I am hoping to finish painting the whole thing this week. We will see.

Yea. As soon as the steering wheel shows up we will go out to the range and drive around in the desert. He doesn't get his learners permit until October. But we are trying to get it ready early.

Man that thing is really starting to take shape. I'm a Jeep guy like I'm a 1911 guy. I can drive other vehicles but my heart is with Jeep. Bringing that one back makes me pretty happy to see. So many of the older ones don't get such a good fate. You also get the added bonus of Father-Son time which will make the Jeep as irreplaceable as the time used to fix it up.

Thanks for posting the progress. I can't wait to see the end result.

Yes...but sadly parts for 6s are just as hard to come by. I keep ordering stuff on line that shows up and isn't even close to fitting. I am going to have to start fabricating pretty soon. But at least I know how. Daniel is really learning a little bit. But sometimes he just stands there looking at me while the wheels are turning in my head. Smoke is about to come out of my ears!

I think that what you are doing is cool as hell as long as he is helping and learning something from the old man. Since you are doing most of the work and I assume paying for most of it he should help. My hats off to you sir.
