We found a new rescue. She is not a boxer but she stole our hearts. She was abandoned at our vets, and is healthy and robust. She and Sassy get along wonderfully and even eat out of the same bowl at the same time. She is a mix, pretty spooky and very gentle. She will never "replace" Cookie; but will become a new member of the family in her own right.

Once the confusion wears off, she'll be a fine companion.

She looks like one fine dog! I think she looks like she has a little Yellow Lab in her? We rescued this one three years ago who may have been shortly put down because they simply did not want her anymore! (Min Pin) I can not imagine people like that! But it seems like sometimes these fine dogs are more appreciative of their new family and their new life than others! Love, Shelter, Water, Food and a family who cares! She will make your family a fine pet and also a valuable part of the family!
One of our Labs actually saved the families life on one occasion! This meaning their loyalty is unmatched! Thanks for the pictures and the thread!

Meet Lexi below!

Cookie would be proud. Somehow I think she may have had a hand in your choice.
