Walk thousands of miles, south? Have you looked at a map? For many of us, that would involve a hearty swim in the Gulf of Mexico.

Most tired, hungry, thirsty, injured, war ravaged people can average ten to twenty miles a day, under good conditions. After a couple days, with no change in fortunes, buzzards dinner.

HK MR .308 with a meopta meostar 4-12x56 scope and leupold deltapoint red dot. It is the best AR platform on the planet. It will take down all big game in Europe and is an excellent battle rifle. That is going to be my next purchase anyways. South for me is Switzerland, so I can always stop by the Sig Sauer factory and purchase a Patrol. Not as good as the HK, but it will do. Funny, I put in Saeur and autocorrect placed sauerkraut instead.

something concealable. I'm a noncombatant till it comes down to it.
If I'm on foot, 40lb worth of bugout, Im rocking a .22. 1000 rounds is less than 10lbs. I can carry 500 comfortably in my cargo pocket on my ACU's. Stay off roads, maintain a low profile, cant really do that lugging a 1000 rnd spam can so the ak would stay at home. Just about every other residence down your street has a box of .22 shells somewhere even if they dont own a .22.

If it dose come down to it, I'm staying hunkered down, I'm drilling that hole and the ak and will be the first thing I pick up when **** hits the fan.

lets just hope zombies are more probable than civil war. I've watched far to many drone/AH64 apache videos. FTDS
