I wish to provide to the beloved membership a wish for a prosperous New Year and an apology.

The prosperous New Year is self evident.

As to the apology, my absence lately has been due to a medical issue. For the majority of you, the issue is being dealt with and I am on the mend.

For the bell curve tails;

May I wish ya‘all a blessed Holiday Season and an awesome 2011 for the FTF.

And for you John Moses Browning disciples, ROCK THE F**K ON!

For the remainder of the membership, I respect your decision to covet items other than 1911’s, Colt’s, BHP (Browning High Powers) and any other firearms missing the JMB genes. Please keep this basis in mind when you engage me in a “poly” discussion. (Exception: Elsie Ahrrrr…)

I mean no personal aspersions, I am simply warning you of my public announcement of a plastic bigotry. (Based on experience, please don’t engage me on this issue, I will kick your ass!)

Cane, happy New Years to you my friend, I wish you all the luck possible with your health issues, but I am sure you will mend right up and and be as ornery as ever! As to John Moses Browning, I am looking forward to the centennial releases of his brain child, the M1911.
