No, it's not a gun. I just added vehicle #43 (?) to my list.
A 2000 Lincoln Continental. Dark emerald green with all the original options.
117k miles, 4 New Michelins, New a/c system, garage kept, all records, including the original window sticker.
This is my new weekend car. The Town Car ended up as my work vehicle. Now I'm going to sell my F150.

boatme,

That is one fine looking ride! One of the best cars I ever owned was a 1976 Mercury Marquis with the big 460 engine. Bought it used also and drove it until 200,000 miles with Zero issues. Then sold it to a young man in our church and his wife. Last I knew the old machine was still running and on its 4th owner! That is one fine looking car you have there!

I like my cars large. They're getting harder to find.

Just like a ford, thinks doors are jars.

Pardon me boys, is that the Chattanooga Choo Choo? (I visited town once to see it)

A classy ride inside and out, especially the dashboard.

It's from the old Tn. Central. It ran from Nashville to a small town on the plateau called Monterey. Passing through Lebanon, Cookeville, where the pics were taken, and on up to Monterey.

That's pretty snazzy boat. How does it ride?

A little stiffer than my Town Car, but that's a good thing on the winding roads here. The TC is a mushmobile. My F 150 handles better than it.
About 100 hp more than the TC.
Same lower engine I think, but dual overhead cams.
Should get 25-27 highway, 20-21 town.
It has the selective suspension but I haven't played with it yet.
I don't take delivery of it for about ten days.
