Umm, not sure who won.

Yes, they got him (last year, I think). Last I heard, his trial was postponed for "health" reasons.

This type of thing has happened before. When I was a kid I remember very well how some folks got heartburn at the thought of a black person moving into their neighborhood.

In New York State, it is a felony "crime" to pick up a handgun if you don't have a permit. If a person were learning to shoot at a range for the purpose of learning self defense and a cop nailed them for holding a handgun without a permit, I'd probably want to live next to that "criminal".

Our judicial system releases violent criminals - people who have committed rapes, murders, child molestation, robbery, burglary, arson, etc. That's the problem: these people have to live somewhere because we, as an uncivil society, have not executed them.
