That's a Wildcat round right there if I have ever seen one. Did your smith use the right reamer to recut the chamber? Is your brass fire formed?

No, It's a standard .45 ACP with a pushtack and some Gorilla Glue.

I can't get them to fit in the clip.

You are gonna have to single feed em. Looks like a good round for hanging posters from 250 yards away.

It looks kind of like a DP round. You know, Drywall Piercing. They're illegal in California.

I am concerned the rotational forces exhibitid on this projectile will spin the tack loose from the front of the bullet. This can be combated with the use of a bullet such as the Hornady XTP where the base of the thumbtack can sit inside the bullet and Gorilla Glue can form a bond on both the bottom and on the side of the thumbtack. We would also be geting one step closer to get this bad boy to magazine feed.

Try seating the bullet far deeper in the case and use a lighter powder charge to combat over pressure issues.

OK, I'm spent.
