Yeah, you should do that. And one day when the Cards get busted for their kiddie porn ring, you'll be a proud supporter for all the world to see. You are missing my point.

A year or so back a story broke about this guy paid $1200 for this wicked tattoo of Albus Dumbledore of Harry Potter fame on his back as a special surprise for his children. A pretty epic tattoo. A year later J.K Rowling decides to tell a some libtard group that Dumbledore was gay, resulting in this nice little fiasco Man teased for tattoo after wizard outing

I was involved with the hiring of staff at my old company. Anyone coming in for an interview that had a visible tattoo was just wasting their time.

Saying "tats suck" is basically like me going to the glock or 1911 section and telling them how much they suck.

Ineffable..I do miss your point, but thats still pretty funny.

Jo..I could tell you how pathetic my life is and how any job that I'd actually qualify for probably wouldn't care if I had tattoos or not. I'm not looking for any sympathy, so I'll spare everyone.

inf is saying you better pick something close to your heart that you want to get tattooed on.

Have you watched LA Ink?

If you havent then you need to watch it. the people on there all have a story behind what they get.

I've been known to do that too.

But it may not stay that way.

I was scooping sh1t out of toilets in my twenties. But I worked hard, did what needed to be done, and most important kept a good attitude, and got promoted over those that bitched all day. I broke the six figure mark two years ago.

All I'm saying is don't do something that could stand in your way if an opportunity comes up. Tattoos do not go over at all in a corporate setting. If your going to get one keep it out of sight, including forearms.

SS.....I agree with Jo.

Keep the tattoo high on your arm so that a summer short sleeve shirt covers it. My Son has to wear long sleeve dress shirts all year with his suits or he can't take his suit jacket off at work when he wants to in the summer time.

That way you will have options.

Also, (Not sure if it's been said) Don't get ANYTHING offensive, even if you can't see it unless your shirt is off. All it takes is one person to see it while you change a shirt at work and it could cause a big stir.

I am lucky to work for a company that doesn't mind my ink. I wear short sleeves that leave my forearm tats visible to everyone. The customer's responses range from the "That's cool!" to the "That's just dumb". Most seem to take at least some interest in them. I guess it just depends on your line of work and your bosses opinion.

Like I said before, I'd only get something with meaning to me. I wouldnt be putting "KKK" or "Nazi Party" anywhere on my body.
