And remember, when on a date, always let her talk. There are reasons for this. You'll figure them out in a few years.

And now, I await the pummeling from the female members for daring to speak the truth.
I don't see anything there worth pummeling. *shrugs*

one point everyone overlooked allow me to address. You're going with your dad, so make sure your dad is cool with it. You never want to miss a father/son activity. Chicks come and go but your old man will always be there. If he's cool with it (and I imagine he would be) then all the same advise as above. Its OK to be nervous because she's just as nervous. if you help her get comfortable with the situation it will help you get comfortable too.

Be a gentleman, bring a little cash though. If she points out a snack or a t-shirt she likes you can get it for her. In my experience if you make her feel like #1 you'll do okay.

Edit: just realized this was a little late, so how'd it go,

Don't dress better than she does, act confident, be polite, treat her like a really really good friend before trying to do anything with her, and don't be afraid to hug her or hold her hand or something (I'd lay off the kissing for a while, though)

OP,your situation reminds me of my past. All i can say is that you need to do you. Be nice, polite, an above all be respectful!! Dont be a push over, or a meat head. Just be yourself, anything else is a lie.
