As for the original question: I, too would recommend looking into a local credit union if available in your area. They are not for profit, so they exist to serve their members, not shareholders.

When I mentioned the shooting range at the dentist's office, they told me one of the oral hygienists (she wasn't there at the time) was a competition shooter, lol. People around here are pretty gun friendly.

Same with me! Well, regarding your question about changing bank. I have heard that Bank of American just released a brand new sort of rewards card. Instead of rewarding customers for spending which only raises the level of their debt, it pays them when they pay their bill when it is due and they will pay just a little more than their minimum monthly condition when doing so. In that way, it is incentives individuals to handle their loan debts more sensibly.

Check out the local credit union thoroughly before you join. Our local one is a ripoff. They are not all the same. The one we had before we moved was great.

Some are nonprofit and locally controlled by boards consisting of elected members who volunteer their time.

Others are banks in disguise, for profit, controlled by an appointed board that is paid.

Thanks for the list, HockaLouis. I will not do business with those who use their profits to oppose me.

I was aware of Google some time ago and have been using this search engine ever since:

https://startpage.com

I'm thinking this will at least deprive Google of their ad revenue?

Here's a nice thank-you from McMillan:

If these people have the guts to stand up for liberty and fundamental principles, it seems to me the least the rest of us can do is pay attention.

My Bank recently put up a sign at the front door, "No concealed weapons allowed".

Of course they have been held up 3 times in 5 years!!!! But not by someone with a CWP.

This is the stupid mentality that we have to put up with!!
