National Police Week

May 12 to 18 Just want to take a minute to thank all current, and former LEOs, and your family. I know first hand, its a way of life that involves your whole family. Growing up, i cant remember mom ever being more than 10ft away from the scanner when dad was on duty. Every call/stop probably stressed her out more than it did him....THANK YOU.......

Yes police do a difficult job and get little thanks. The police here have done a difficult job over the years and many have made the ultimate sacrifice protecting the public.

I do admire your control in certain situations ..! Child abusers , rapists , I don't think I could maintain control..! I salute you and your conditioning..!

Thank you..!

When I lived in Gulfport, MS my neighbors on the one side were cops (husband and wife). They were really nice people. They kept an eye on our place when we were away and we did the same for them. A dangerous thankless job for the most part. I thank you. :)

The PD's do get my respect everyday. I couldnt do the job they do if it paid twice what mine does. I do hope someday they will again be considered an extension of the citizen instead of big brothers thugs.
