DefaultNational Groups Besides NRA

I have my problems with the NRA but I have not found any other larger firearm groups.

Anyone support any other groups besides the NRA?

redrider, I'm curious, what are your issues with the NRA? I have issues also but not enough to keep me from being a member.

Default+1 for GOA - they do NOT compromise like the NRA.

We have compromised our rights away for so long that the NRA does a little
harm with every good they do - and they can't see the difference!

It is important to belong to the NRA, but it should not be your only organization to protect our rights.

I have gun owning friends who have bought the line that we have to "compromise". Bull feathers. Join GOA and see what advocacy REALLY means.

GOA is number 2 and may be getting my money soon.

I think you should belong to at least 1 nation and one state.

I right now belong to NRA and VCDL.

I'm a member of the NRA, GOA and the Calguns Foundation. Calguns works for gun rights here in occupied Kalifornia.

How does GOA compare to NRA on unsolicited mailings and phone calls? Sometimes I wonder how the NRA has any money left after they send all their members mailings every couple of days and call them about once a week.

I get 10X the "beg 4 $" mail from the NRA.

GOA sends a monthly newsletter and also includes a pitch for funds. NRA sends ILA, PVF and ABCGEFG every friggin' month and then some more. Everything's an emergency that only more donations can fix.

If I didn't have to be a member to belong to my range/club, I'd quit.
