Nashville: Heavy Rains Continue To Drench Region; 5 Dead

My prayers go out to the folks in Tenn. with this flooding!

I looked at the video and the pics, they did not have the time to even get to their vehicles at the Walmart parking lot - the water came up very quick!

I hope all the Tennessee folks are okay.

Appreciate the kind words but things here are pretty darn wet. Nashville area already with 10 to 12 inches and it's still raining. We live south of Nashville, by about 50 miles, and on top of a big hill so we're OK. First time I can remember having interstates closed for flooding. Plenty of folks flooded out of their homes. It's a mess....

Heck of a topic for my first post on this forum....

Best wishes to any folks in the flood zone, I can't imagine how effed up it would be to have my home completely flooded, I had three inches of water in my basement in March and that was a pain in the a$$! My prayers go out.

Holy crap that's bad, I live in the wettest region in the U.S. Astoria Oregon. We have seen alot of rain but never anything like that.

That's because you have that big drainage ditch on the north side of town! :D

Serious prayers for those affected by this flood in Tennessee!

They are going thru a rough time right now. Everyone in that regon needs our prayers and support. The storm is going to hit my area later today, I hope it's lost some energy climbing over the mountain.

I wish them the best of luck in getting that mess cleaned up.
