Default My puppy is growing up

Well a while back I posted a few photos of my puppy, He was 8 weeks old and 12 pounds when I got him. He is a brindle pit bull. The photos don't do any justice. He looks black but he has a whole lot of brindle on his body and each day it appears to more is coming out.

Now he is going on 18 weeks old and a whopping 35 pounds. He doesn't look like he weighs that much but man does he have some muscle on him already.

Before - 8 weeks

After - 18 weeks

They grow like a weed don't they. Both of my dogs when we got them weighed around 8lbs now they're both two years old and weigh around 85lbs .

They sure do. At first the vet said he may have been the runt out of the litter, now they say to not be surprised if he makes it up to 100 pounds. He's a big guy with a big heart. He loves to play and is fantastic around children.

Wanna talk about a positive distraction when things go south...the furry 4 legged kind is the best way to occupy your mind. I adopted my Mom's beagle after she passed last year and I can't begin to tell you how much she has picked me up

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

I had a couple of Boston Terriers that were black/brindle. They were black with faint brown stripes on them. I think that's what Boyer's dog is. In the first picture you may be able to faintly see the brown stripes.

Of course, my eyes are younger than yours.
